Senior Research Technologist

 Daily Tasks
Independently executes experimental studies and related projects. Designs and troubleshoots experiments and independently determines experimental progression. Analyzes and helps interpret data; writes scientific papers and presentations. Trains and oversees the work of residents, fellows and other lab personnel.
Communications skills, positive personality, human relations skills, multitasking, strong organizational skills, meticulous with details, self-motivated, ability to work independently and with a team.
 Work Setting
Research laboratories on campus.
 Work Hours
Primarily day shifts, Monday-Friday. Additional hours beyond this as needed to complete assignments.
Requires a bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry or other relevant sciences with demonstrated abilities in experimental procedures, statistical analysis techniques and writing/presentation skills.
Must have knowledge of basic lab technique and computers, be familiar with medical terminology and have clerical and data entry skills.
