Works under the supervision of a registered nurse to assist with the care of people of all age groups. Assists with activities of daily living, promoting the highest practical level of physical, mental and psychosocial well-being.

|Hospital, long term care facility or home care.|
|Varied schedule including day, evening and night shifts, along with weekend and holiday hours.|
|High school diploma or GED required, and nursing assistant registration certification or willingness to take nursing assistant class or test out for nursing assistant registration within four months of hire.|
|A working knowledge of state and federal regulations as well as previous experience with geriatric population preferred.|
