What's a Behavioral Interview?

A Behavioral Interview is a structured process where those interviewed are asked to describe a situation they've experienced related to the skill in question (i.e. customer service). Answers to behavior-based questions offer past experiences and behaviors you displayed that demonstrate how you respond to given circumstances. All interviewed are asked the same questions. Many employers, including Mayo Clinic, use Behavioral Interviews for many or all of their interviews. 

The SHARE Model® allows you a quick and easy way to thoroughly answer each question. Consider each interview question an opportunity to share a different chapter of your career story by highlighting specific times you demonstrated each skill or ability. This method allows you to tell your story with ease in a captivating and memorable way.
