Health Unit Coordinator

 Daily Tasks
Provides organizational, receptionist, and clerical support to patient care units and the health care team. Duties include:

  • Monitors and orders supplies
  • Transcribes orders to patient electronic medical record and other communication devices
  • Communicates with patients, visitors, and facility staff across the continuum of care.
  • A resource to health care team.
  • Anticipates and responds to team requests and patient needs.

Patient care hospital setting.
 
 Work Hours

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Basic knowledge of computer systems and strong keyboarding skills
  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills
