Food Prep Worker

 Daily Tasks
Responsible for cooking, baking and planning large meals from set recipes. Many times the meals are specifically prepared due to the nature of the patients' illness. Cleans the food equipment and area. Supports the transport of food and supplies.
Communications skills, positive personality, people/interaction skills, multitasking, self-motivated, ability to work independently, ability to work with a team, professional image, respect diversity.
 Work Setting
Cafeterias at the hospitals and clinic.
 Work Hours
Typically centered on the three usual meals of the day, breakfast, lunch and supper, including weekends and holidays.
High school or equivalent education is preferred.
Previous large-quantity cooking experience. Knowledge of cooking practices and machinery used in large-batch environments is essential.
