High School Career Observation

Eligibility: High school student in 10th-12th grade who has not graduated.

Note: If you have graduated from high school and are enrolled in a college undergraduate program, please apply for a College Undergraduate Career Observation. If you have graduated from high school and are not in a college undergraduate program, please refer to the Other Observer listing.

How to apply

1. Determine eligibility and review guidelines.

2. Find a department staff host and request observation. Visit Departments and Centers to find a contact. Note: Students must network to find their own contact.

3. Review Compliance Training, complete the High School Career Observation Application, and submit to the department contact to complete their portion of the application.

4. Submit completed application form to Mayo Clinic Human Resources campus site as listed.

5. Human Resources will confirm the application is approved prior to the start of the observation experience.
