Clinical Therapist

 Daily Tasks
Function as part of an interdisciplinary team providing counseling and psychotherapy services addressing a broad range of behavioral health issues.
Multitasking skills, ability to work under pressure, excellent communication and human relation skills, public speaking skills. Ability to adjust to change, analytical skills, problem-solving skills, desire for continuing education.
 Work Setting
Clinical, hospital, inpatient or outpatient setting.
 Work Hours
Variable schedule, including weekend hours, dictated by assignments and workload. Typically 8AM-5PM or 7:30AM-4:30PM Monday through Friday
Master's degree in approved human services field (Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Psychiatric Nursing, and Counseling), Clinical Therapy license required. Other education: Masters of Social Work (MSW) with Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), but could accept Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent. Dually credentialed (including Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse (AODA)) is strongly preferred.
Master's in approved human services field Supervised clinical post Master's experience of 3,000 hours in a mental health setting. Eligible for state certification, needs to have and maintain specialized certifications as necessary to serve specific client populations. Provide services in: Screening, Treatment, Planning, Crisis intervention, intake Counseling/Psychotherapy, Education Orientation, Case Management, Consultation Assessment, Record Keeping, Referral
