Desk Operations Specialist

 Daily Tasks
Supports physicians and other health-care providers. Primary tasks include anticipating and responding to patient needs including coordinating the details of patients' visits through collaboration of appointment schedules, patient preparation, completing pre-exam record information, managing the flow of patient materials, communicating scheduling delays or changes, serving as a direct contact and resource to the patient.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, superior customer service skills, and desire to work in a team environment.
 Work Setting
Desk on a specialty floor in the clinic.
 Work Hours
Primarily day shifts, Monday-Friday.
 Education and Qualifications
Advanced education of 21 credits or more. Course work in a health care-related field is preferred.

College prep, business/accounting, keyboarding, computer applications, advanced English composition, healthcare sciences, biology, math, and psychology
