Research Technologist

 Daily Tasks
Executes experimental studies and assists in the planning, design and modification of experiments. Analyzes and organizes data. May make presentations and contribute to the writing of manuscripts. Technologists train residents, fellows and temporary lab personnel and are responsible for maintaining lab equipment and supplies.
Communications skills, positive personality, human relations skills, multitasking, strong organizational skills, self-motivated, ability to work independently and an ability to work with a team.
 Work Setting
Research laboratories on campus.
 Work Hours
Primarily day shifts, Monday-Friday. Additional hours beyond this as needed to complete assignments.
This position requires a bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry or other relevant sciences.
Must have knowledge of basic lab technique and computers, be familiar with medical terminology and have clerical and data entry skills.
