Radiologic Technologist

 Daily Tasks
Makes diagnostic X-ray images of patients. Requires competence in a variety of equipment, including computed tomography, mammography and magnetic resonance imaging.
Communications skills, positive personality, human relations skills, multitasking, self-motivated, ability to work independently, ability to work with a team, professional image, respect diversity, flexibility, honesty and caring attitude towards people.
 Work Setting
A radiology procedure room in a clinic and hospital setting.
 Work Hours
Varied work schedules with some on-call requirements (including evenings, nights, holidays and weekends).
Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
Candidates must be ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certified in radiography or registry eligible.

College prep, computer applications, photography, healthcare sciences, biology, chemistry, physics, algebra, geometry, second language and psychology
