Dietetic Technician

 Daily Tasks
Support clinical registered dietitians in planning and providing nutrition care of patients.
Communications skills, positive personality, people/interaction skills, multitasking, self-motivated, ability to work independently, ability to work with a team.
 Work Setting
Hospital and clinic settings on campus.
 Work Hours
Varied schedule including Monday through Sundays, including some weekend hours.
Successfully complete an American Dietetic Association accredited dietetic technician program with an associate degree and pass a national written examination.
One year of clinical dietetics experience preferred.
 Recommended High School Classes
College prep, food and nutrition, health, life and physical science, algebra, second language and psychology
