Administrative Assistant

 Daily Tasks
Prepare correspondence, reports, agendas, minutes, presentation materials; make travel arrangements; process reimbursement for travel and other travel expenses; maintain calendars; schedule meetings and answer telephones.

Demonstrate initiative, proficiency and good judgement to optimize the time of those supported; strong organizational and communication skills; commitment to quality and excellence in service.
 
 Work Setting
Office setting.
 
 Work Hours
Primarily day shifts, Monday-Friday.
 
 Education
One or two-year degree/diploma in an administrative assistant/secretarial field or a minimum of two years experience in a secretarial/administrative assistant role.
 
 Qualifications
Knowledge of English usage, grammar, punctuation and style. Knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheets, formatting databases, and ability to work with numbers and statistics and dictation/transcription equipment. Typing ability of minimum 55 words per minute.

Business, keyboarding, computer applications, accounting, advanced English composition, public speaking, and math
